Getting Started
Getting started with Copper is easy. Go to your Copper account URL and log in with your username and password.
When you log in you’ll see your personal profile, and the list of your available modules such as To Do, Clients, Projects, Calendar, Files, Contacts, Reports and Admin.
The quick search is shown at top right, and allows you to easily find any Copper asset in real time.
When you log in Copper displays your chosen default section. Here it's the projects section.
OK, here’s how easy it is to get set up:
First you add a Client. Then add a new project. Next add your tasks for the project, and finally add your people to those tasks. With advanced resourcing you can book your resources for specific hours.
From there your people go about their work, keeping a running commentary as they log their time and estimate the task’s progress. There you have it, your entire team is now on the same page. But that's just the tip of the iceberg with Copper.
Think of Copper as your 'closed-loop' productivity tool. You and your team actually become more efficient the more you use it!
You build your projects, allocate and schedule your team, they undertake the work, you review the timeline and resources required as you go. So once a project is complete, not only are you better informed as to how your team performed, but your project templates become more refined which results in a more accurate project estimate for your clients/account dept.
